Meet Tony Mollner – Estimator
I always thought I could write a book with my life experiences until I was asked to write a bio. Now I realize a couple paragraphs will be plenty.
I grew up on a farm in Minnesota (Go Vikings) and moved to Bear country in northern Illinois when I was 9. I joined the Air Force the day after I graduated from high school and ended up in Las Vegas where I eventually became a construction superintendant and a professional craps player (unless you actually have to win to be called a professional craps player). After waking my wife up from a dead sleep because I was screaming “5 dollar yo” and “come on snake eyes” we decided it would be smart to move back to the Midwest where I started my sales career. One would think that moving to the Midwest would hinder my gambling obsession. However, even in the small town of Dixon, Illinois I still managed to place a couple big bets on 2 guys hanging from rafters 15 feet in the air, for once I finally won a bet, now I can call myself a professional. From there I continued in sales but out west in Colorado. While living in Colorado I found doing sales is easy compared to the mountain biking, because those mountain bikers actually want you to ride a bike up and down the mountains with no trails or guard rails to keep you from falling over the edge. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that it is a lot easier getting to the bottom of the mountain by rolling end over end than it is to actually ride the bike down the mountain.
Thanks to Ganser, my wonderful understanding wife, and our “what dat” 16 month old child, I am back in the area I have always loved (God’s country) working for one of the best, truly family owned companies remaining. Where there is nothing but smiles and “good morning, how are you doing today” greetings. Hope to meet with you soon and help turn your remodeling dreams into reality.
